IFC Engaged for Louisville Edge Certification

Efficient buildings increase revenues and reduce operating costs while also providing better collateral due to higher resale prices, delivering superior asset value to investors and financiers. Louisville intends to create a green and sustainable project that benefits people, the planet, and the environment.

To that end, TEHC has applied for EDGE certification for the Louisville project in order to set the standard for environmental efficiency during building operation and to bring international prestige to the project. The certification is powered by the International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group. EDGE makes it simple to design and certify resource efficient and Zero Carbon buildings of all types, anywhere in the world. A preliminary certification is being processed at this time, and a final certification will be obtained once the project is completed.
